There have been rumors flying that the two constitutional amendments regarding the ability for GCFA to have discretion in between General Conferences (that failed today) will make null Plan UMC. This doesn’t make sense to me. Is there anything to that?

We do not expect the failed amendments to nullify Plan UMC.
i read it failed because it’s against our constitution? what part exactly?
